The purchase, download or delivery of an image does not transfer copyright ownership or any intellectual property rights.
All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

Image Viewing and Unauthorized Use
Images displayed in online galleries, websites, digital catalogs, client proofing systems or other platforms are provided solely for viewing and selection purposes.
Viewing an image does not constitute a license to use it.
The following actions are strictly prohibited without prior written authorization:
- Downloading images without permission.
- Taking screenshots for publication or distribution.
- Copying, storing or redistributing images.
- Sharing images with third parties.
- Removing watermarks, copyright notices or IPTC metadata.
- Publishing or using images without a valid license.
Unauthorized use may constitute copyright infringement and may result in legal action.
Available Licenses
Personal Use License
The Personal Use License is intended exclusively for private, personal and non-commercial use.
Permitted uses include:
- Personal storage and archiving.
- Private prints.
- Family photo albums.
- Personal social media profiles.
- Sharing images with family and friends.
Not permitted:
- Advertising.
- Marketing.
- Commercial activities.
- Business promotion.
- Political campaigns.
- Resale or redistribution.
Personal licenses are non-transferable.
Editorial License
The Editorial License allows the use of images for informational, journalistic, documentary, educational and cultural purposes.
Permitted uses include:
- Newspapers.
- Magazines.
- News websites.
- Editorial blogs.
- Documentary productions.
- Academic publications.
- Educational materials.
- Historical archives.
Editorial licenses do not permit:
- Advertising.
- Commercial promotion.
- Branding.
- Marketing campaigns.
- Product endorsements.
- Political campaigns.
Any change in the intended use requires a new license.
Commercial License
The Commercial License authorizes the use of images for commercial, promotional and business purposes.
Permitted uses include:
- Corporate websites.
- Business social media accounts.
- Advertising campaigns.
- Digital marketing.
- Brochures and catalogs.
- Corporate presentations.
- Press releases.
- Promotional materials.
Commercial licenses are non-exclusive unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Photostar reserves the right to license the same image to other clients.
Artificial Intelligence (AI)
No image distributed by Photostar may be used to train artificial intelligence systems, generative AI models, machine learning databases, computer vision systems or similar technologies without prior written authorization.
Photographer Credit
Whenever technically and editorially possible, the following credit lines should be used:

The omission of a credit line does not transfer copyright ownership.
Prohibited Uses
Images may not be used for:
- Illegal activities.
- Pornographic content.
- Escort services.
- Defamatory content.
- Hate speech.
- Discriminatory content.
- Fraudulent activities.
- Any use that violates applicable laws or public standards.
Licensing Requests
If you wish to publish, reproduce, distribute, display or otherwise use any image represented by Photostar, you must obtain the appropriate license before use.
Licensing rights are available upon request.
Unauthorized use of any image may constitute copyright infringement and may result in legal action.

All prices shown in this price list are exclusive of Finnish Value Added Tax (VAT/ALV). The applicable VAT will be added to the final invoice where required by Finnish tax legislation.
Volume Discounts
- 5 images: 10% discount
- 10 images: 15% discount
- 20 images or more: Custom quotation
